My career started in patient transport at INOVA Fairfax Hospital while I was finishing my Bachelor of Science in Biology with specialty in Cardiovascular Technology from Geneva College. After graduation I started working in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. After spending 2 years at INOVA, I moved back to Pennsylvania and took the same position at UPMC Presbyterian hospital. In late 2005, we learned we were expecting our first child and made the decision to find a job with a less demanding schedule. I always knew that I wanted to stay home while raising my children and wanted a job that afforded me the flexibility and freedom to do so.
Before welcoming our second child in late 2008 I obtained my property and casualty insurance license and started selling commercial insurance for Nationwide Insurance. Once our second daughter was born, I decided to take a break to raise our kids full time.
Fast forward 11 years, we have 3 daughters, two of which are teenagers and one pre-teen. Since they are all in school and my school volunteering has lessened, I wanted to get back to working with people and take on a new opportunity. I became the Office Manager of 21:5 in 2019, when the firm started, and I absolutely love working with all the wonderful clients.
I am a lifelong learner and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and role within the firm as it grows.
If am not in the office, you may find me at the gym getting in my daily workout, or out on the roads as it seems that my extra time is devoted to chauffeuring children to and from their various activities! I love the outdoors and being active so taking our lovable dog Kimber for walks is always in the cards. I also spend a lot of time volunteering for our church, helping out wherever I am needed!
